We're open...
To our loyal patients,
We would like to thank you for your kindness, patience and forbearance during our period of temporary closure during this worldwide pandemic.
It has been an extremely difficult time for all of us since we were forced to close the practice on 23rd March 2020. We have however, been extremely busy as a team at the practice preparing it for our return and to welcome you all back again.
We have always prided ourselves on our excellent hygiene standards and infection control protocols, our team also undergo regular training and evaluation.
Covid 19 has however thrown some new problems at us which we have been busy trying to overcome over the last few months.
We have installed a state-of-the-art Negative Pressure High Volume Air Extraction System into each of our surgeries. This means that all the air in each of our surgeries is completely exchanged every 2 minutes. This exceeds the standards required in hospital operating theatres.
We have also invested in Hypochlorous Acid Fogging Equipment. Between appointments this equipment will produce an anti-viral fog which decontaminates all the surfaces in the room.
You will notice that your visit to us will be a different experience to your previous visits.
• We will call you before your appointment to ensure you are well and to perform a simple triage before you attend.
• We will ask you to wait in your car until called for your appointment to ensure correct social distancing. Our waiting area will be limited and social distancing will be mandatory.
• On entering the practice we may take your temperature, you will be asked to put on a face mask if you have not brought one with you and perform hand hygiene before being led into the dental surgery.
• You will notice that we will be dressed slightly differently.
• We will also try to take payments over the phone where possible.
We will initially be limited to the number of patients that we can see each day. You will understand that we will be dealing with the emergency and urgent care backlog in the first instance. In anticipation we would like to thank you for your patience.
The team at Lynwood Dental & Implant Centre look forward to welcoming you back and want to reassure you all that we have made our working environment a very safe place to be in.
See you soon!
